1.3 The HydraExpress Libraries

The HydraExpress libraries include the three primary libraries that support XML binding, development of Web services, and servlet development, in addition to the underlying HydraExpress libraries.

Header files for these libraries are located in the directory <installdir>\include\rwsf\ directory as follows:

include\rwsf\
    webservice          // Web services
    xmlbinding          // XML binding
    servlet             // servlet development APIs

These libraries are documented in the HydraExpress Web Service Reference Guide, the HydraExpress XML Binding Reference Guide, and the HydraExpress Servlet Reference Guide, respectively.

The HydraExpress directories contain libraries in both 12d and 15d forms. When you build a HydraExpress project, the 12d libraries are used by default and the project will include a 12d directory that contains artifacts from the release build.

The 15d libraries allow you to build projects in debug mode. The project will then build in debug mode and will include a 15d directory that contains artifacts from the debug build.

This library supports basic functionality and is used internally in the generated code. Your applications will seldom need to overtly manipulate any classes in this library. In addition, only certain classes in this library are part of the public API. These classes are documented in the Hydra Core Library Reference Guide.

Header files for this library are located in the directory <installdir>\include\rwsf\core.
