HydraExpress Web Service Development Guide
Rogue Wave web site:  Home Page  |  Main Documentation Page

1.3 For Users of HydraSCA

If you are using HydraSCA to develop business processes composed of Web services, generally you will not need to work directly with the tools provided as part of HydraExpress.

If, however, you need to create a Web service from scratch, using the HydraExpress code generator rwsfgen directly may be the best strategy. The code generator takes a WSDL and/or XML Schema as an argument and generates all necessary client and server code (and datatype classes if there is a schema) to build a fully working Web service of any complexity. The design provides ample opportunity to customize, enhance, or expand your service in any way, from adding specialized message handlers and transports, to building in security.

Once the Web service has been created and tested, it is ready to be used in a business process.
