14.1 Overview

HydraExpress's Transport Plug-In SDK features pluggable transport components that can be used by any Web service application and swapped in and out at runtime. A single Web service can support multiple transports, or the same transport can be used across multiple services. Your existing service or client implementations will not need to change to take advantage of different transports.

General transports supported by HydraExpress include HTTP and HTTPS. For more information on these transports or pluggable transports in general, see Chapter 11, "Dynamic Transports."

This chapter discusses alternate pluggable transports supported by HydraExpress. These individual pluggable transport SDKs are available for deployment by special contract. For more information, please contact your sales person.
