Thank you for purchasing Rogue Wave® HydraExpress. HydraExpress (formerly LEIF) provides a framework for developing and hosting high performance C++ Web services. Advanced XML, SOAP, and WSDL productivity tools help you to transform new and existing C++ applications for use in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).

HydraExpress provides a runtime to host its services. This runtime is referred to in the documentation as the HydraExpress Agent. The Agent consists of a connector and handler architecture, and an execution engine for running services. HydraExpress services are implemented as C++ servlets, so the execution engine is referred to as the HydraExpress servlet container.
