1.6 HydraExpress Mappings to LEIF Legacy Directory Structure

HydraExpress evolved from a previous Rogue Wave product, LEIF. LEIF itself was a combination of three separate products, Bobcat, XML Object Link, and SOAPworX. At this point, HydraExpress is a single product and these previous product divisions no longer have much meaning.

If you are migrating to HydraExpress from a previous product, it may be useful to know how these products are incorporated as components into HydraExpress. The following table provides a mapping between previous product names or directories, and the existing installation directory structure.

Table 1: Legacy Directories and Product Mappings

HydraExpress LEIF Description
\include\rwsf\webservice rw\leif\soapworx Web service header files
\include\rwsf\xmlbinding rw\leif\xmlol XML binding header files
\include\rwsf\servlet rw\leif\servlet Servlet API header files
\examples \examples Shipped examples
\apps\servlets \webapps Deployed Web services and servlets
\conf\webservice \conf\soapworx Web service transport configuration files. Copied to codegendir\conf directory at code generation.
