Using Klocwork with Containers
When it comes to your build analysis, you are likely running your project from a dedicated machine; Klocwork also offers the ability to run your builds within a container. Klocwork tools are designed to be DevOps ready, which makes it easy to include static code analysis as part of your preferred configuration.
Supported environments
In order to run Klocwork in a container, a special DevOps license is required. For a list of required libraries, see Supported platforms.
Which Klocwork components are supported?
- Klocwork Portal
- Build machines running integration analysis
- Continuous (diff) analysis tools
- Desktop command line tools (If the containers are running from your development machine)
For some examples, see Setting up Klocwork with Containers (Linux).
Perforce is also here to help! If you need help with setting up or using containers with Klocwork, you can contact Static Code Analysis Professional Services to discuss assistance via a services engagement.
