A SourcePro DB installation consists of the DB Interface Module and one or more DB Access Modules. Each DB Access Module provides access to a specific database API; this architecture is explained in detail in the DB Interface Module User's Guide.
The DB Access Module for Microsoft SQL Server provides access to Microsoft SQL Server using the Microsoft SQL Server ODBC driver or the Microsoft SQL Server Native Client ODBC driver.
This manual assumes that you have installed your client database software and established a successful database connection. For more information, see Section 1.3.3, "Database Connectivity," in the DB Interface Module User's Guide, and the manual Building Your Applications.
