Rogue Wave Component Builder (RCB) replaced the previous Rogue Wave tool used to build components, Software Parts Manager (SPM). The rest of this chapter explains things to consider when migrating from SPM to RCB.
The first issue is simply understanding the differences in terminology, process, and directory structure between SPM and RCB. Section 5.3 describes these differences.
The second issue is how to most easily integrate builds performed through RCB with an environment based on SPM builds. Section 5.4 discusses this issue.
