All data are bound, except for variable length data (RWDBBlobs, RWCStrings, RWWStrings, RWDBMBStrings, and RWBasicUStrings) with lengths greater than a certain limit. The limit for Sybase Adaptive Server 12.5 and above is 16384 bytes. The data are bound using the Sybase CT Library calls blk_bind() or ct_setparam().
Data type RWBasicUString is supported in Sybase Adaptive Server 12.5 or higher with Sybase CT Open Client version 12.5 or higher.
