Threads Module User's Guide
Rogue Wave web site:  Home Page  |  Main Documentation Page

3.1 Introducing the Threading Package

The principle role of the Threading package is to allow you to create threads on a variety of operating systems and platforms. The Threading package includes:

3.1.1 Interpackage Dependencies

The Threading package depends on the Thread-compatible Exception, Execution Tracing, Synchronization, Smart Pointer, Functor, and Interthread Communication packages of Threads Module.

3.1.2 Including the Header Files

The rw\thread directory contains a header file for each class in the Threading package. The header files are named classname.h. You can also access the declarations for the entire package through thread.h, an umbrella file that includes the header files for all the classes.
