1.1 Welcome
Welcome to Rogue Wave® Component Builder (RCB). This manual explains how to install and build your SourcePro® C++ products.
Chapter 1 (this chapter) includes RCB concepts and features and lists system requirements and where you can find additional information.
Chapter 2 discusses how to install your products, gives the "big picture" of using RCB, and provides a step-by-step guide to using RCB to build your products.
Chapter 3 provides detailed information about the questions you will answer as you perform the steps in Chapter 2.
Chapter 4 explains how to work with the Rogue Wave buildspace directory structure.
Chapter 5 discusses upgrading to this version of RCB, and tells Software Parts Manager (SPM) users how to migrate to RCB.
Chapter 6 explains compiling issues with different operating systems.
