VARS(argumentlist)
Returns the sample variance (N-1 weighting) of its arguments. Blank cells and cells containing strings are not counted.
Parameters
argumentlist
Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges
Examples
VARS(1, 2, 7) = 10.333333
VARS(Y1..Y5) = 84.7
where Y1..Y5 = 22, 24, 29, 34, and 45
VARS(K6..K10) = 0.62603
where K6..K10 = 1, .33, 0, -0.66, and -0.99
