Exporting Selected (Subsetted) Data
You can export selected (subsetted) data from one instance of a VDA Tool to another other instance of a VDA Tool.

note
The target VDA Tool must be able to import the particular kind of exported data. For example, the WzIPContour Tool will not accept a 1D variable exported from the WzIPPlot Tool, because WzIPContour only accepts 2D data.
The general procedure for exporting selected data includes these steps:
1. Select the data you wish to export using the Data Selection function. For more information, see Selecting (Subsetting) Data.
2. Choose File=>Export Selected Data to bring up the Selected Data Export dialog box.
3. In the list box titled Select variable(s) to create and/or export, click MB1 on the variable(s) that you wish to export.
4. In the list box titled Select the destination VDA Tool(s), click MB1 on the VDA Tools you want to export to.
5. Click OK or Apply to export the selected variable(s) to the selected VDA Tool(s). The exported variables are immediately displayed in the target VDA Tool(s).
