Exporting Pixmap Variables from Another VDA Tool
You can create a pixmap variable for animation in the WzAnimate Tool from “stills” created in any of the following VDA Tools:
WzAnimate
WzContour
WzHistogram
WzImage
WzMultiView
WzPlot
WzSurface
Creating the Pixmap Variable
The procedure for creating an animation variable comprised of pixmaps includes these steps:
1. In any of the VDA Tools listed above, view the variable you want to capture as a pixmap for animation.
2. In this “source” VDA Tool, use the File=>Export As Pixmap function to open the Export Pixmap dialog box.
3. Using the source VDA Tool’s Export Pixmap dialog box, concatenate into one variable the images you want to export to the destination WzAnimate Tool for animation.
4. Save the variable.
Animating the Pixmap Variable
The procedure for importing a pixmap variable created with another VDA Tool includes these steps:
1. Open the WzAnimate Tool.
2. In the source VDA Tool, use the File=>Export Variables function to open the Variable Export dialog box.
3. In the source VDA Tool’s Variable Export dialog box, select the variable you want to export (from the top list box), using MB1.
4. In the same dialog box, use MB1 to select the destination WzAnimate Tool from the bottom list box.
5. Press Apply or OK in the source VDA Tool’s Variable Export dialog box.
The exported pixmap variable displays in the destination WzAnimate Tool window.
6. Click MB1 on either the Forward or Reverse arrow button in the WzAnimate Tool to start the animation.
