Exporting a Variable to Another VDA Tool

VDA Tools > WzImport > Exporting a Variable to Another VDA Tool

A variable that was successfully created by reading an external data file can be exported to the following (currently open) VDA Tools:

WzContour

WzHistogram

WzImage

WzPlot

WzSurface

WzTable

note	Image files read into an image associative array cannot be displayed in WzImage. WzImage can accept 2D or 3D pixel arrays only.

The following steps are used to export variables from the WzImport Tool.

1. Select File=>Export Variables from the menu bar. The Variable Export dialog box appears.

2. Select the variable to export from the list of available variables in the upper list box by clicking MB1.

3. Select the destination tool for the exported variable from the list of available VDA Tools in the lower list box by clicking MB1 on the tool name.

4. Click Apply to accept the selections, or click OK to accept and dismiss the dialog box.

The success of the export operation is indicated in messages in both the WzImport and the destination VDA Tool window message areas.
