Opening an External Data File for Previewing

VDA Tools > WzPreview > Opening an External Data File for Previewing

To load a file into the WzPreview Tool, do one of the following:

Enter the filename in the Filename text field and press <Return>, or

Use the Browse button to choose a file. The Browse button brings up the Preview File dialog box, which is a standard file selection dialog box.

The file contents appears in the display area. By default, the header, records, and fields are automatically defined. You can use functions on the Edit menu to change these automatic definitions if you like.

note	You may wish to make some selections from the Attributes=>Setup dialog box before loading the file, but this is optional. Any selections that you make before loading the file for previewing can also be made later in the process (after loading the file).
