Displaying a Variable in a WzContour Tool
Before you can display a variable in a WzContour Tool, the variable must already exist on the $MAIN$ level of PV‑WAVE.

note
Only 2D variables can be displayed in a WzContour Tool.
Use any of the following methods to display a variable in a WzContour Tool:
*Open a WzContour Tool from the Navigator when one or more variables are on the variable selection list. Select a variable from the list that has the correct data type and dimensions for the WzContour Tool. The selected variable is automatically plotted when a WzContour Tool is opened. See Displaying a Variable into a VDA Tool Started from the Navigator for more information.
*Export a variable or selected data from another VDA Tool to a specified instance of the WzContour Tool. To do this, use the File=>Export Variable(s) or File=>Export Selected Data function in the VDA Tool containing the variable.
*Supply a variable name as a parameter to the WzContour command.
For example:
WAVE> WzContour, elev data
where elev data is a variable on the $MAIN$ level of PV‑WAVE.
