As an MFC extension library, Objective Chart is built on the standard MFC classes and adds functionality without being restricted by MFC limitations.

For example, Objective Chart is not dependent on MFC’s document/view architecture, but it provides document and view classes that utilize and enhance MFC’s capabilities for serialization, printing, and user interaction. Special view-type classes provide printing and interactive features to charts displayed in a dialog box or form view. The optional and independent Communication Document system establishes a method through which documents of different types can share information.
