Testing the Panel
The geometry of the panel can be tested via the standard Test button in the Studio Main window. In test mode, you can resize the panel and see how the gadgets reflect the new panel size.
You may want to test the Rogue Wave® Server runtime behavior of your view. To do so, follow the steps below:
1. Double-click on the Server Data Source icon in the Main window to open the Server Data Source inspector panel again.
2. Choose Update view on Server from the Server menu. The view DomainsOfNetwork is added to the list of the view definitions.
Before you can do this, you must save the corresponding panel in the path you set using the ILSPATH environment variable. If you have not done so, an alert message warns you.
3. Choose Session Properties from the Edit menu and check the Show Connection Panel option in the Edit Properties dialog box.
4. Go back to the Main panel and click on the Test button.
The current panel is set to test mode and a connection panel appears.
5. Select the object MyNetwork and open the view DomainsOfNetwork.
The Table gadget is filled with data from the server.

6. Quit test mode by clicking on the Test button again to close the pannel and the connection panel.
