The DB XA Module adds XA functionality to Rogue Wave's SourcePro DB product by allowing SourcePro DB applications to work through a transaction processing monitor (TPM). This module exposes transactional connections established by your TPM to the application program. It also facilitates communication between a middle-tier application server and a resource manager in a distributed transaction processing environment.
Support for the DB XA Module is available only when Rogue Wave Solution Services installs and configures the DB XA Module for specific platforms and XA-compliant Transaction Processing Monitors (TPMs). Please contact your Rogue Wave account representative for more information.
At the time of this writing, the SourcePro DB access modules that support XA functionality are Oracle OCI, Sybase, and DB2 CLI.
