Information on a Range of Points
Using Data Selection
To obtain information about a range of data points, press and drag MB1 to define the rectangle containing the area of interest. When you are satisfied with the rectangle size and placement, release MB1 and the resulting information is displayed in the Message Area.
The information returned for the area defined by the rectangle includes
*The selected coordinate range: (X1, Y1) to (X2, Y2).
*The minimum and maximum data values within the defined area.
*The mean, median, and standard deviation statistics of the entire data set within the area defined by the rectangle.
Using Profiles
Image intensity with respect to XY coordinates along a cross-section of the image is obtained using any of three profiling methods. Click here for information about profiling techniques for obtaining information about your data.
